Induksi Mutasi Radiasi Sinar Gamma Kobalt-60 (60Co) terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Kedelai Edamame (Glycine max (L.) Merr.)

Ekspor kedelai edamame (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) membutuhkan suplai yang berkesinambungan dan berkualitas. Kedelai edamame varietas Lokal Jember dapat ditingkatkan kualitas hasilnya melalui pemuliaan tanaman. Pemuliaan menggunakan metode mutasi berbasis radiasi sinar gamma 60Co menghasilkan sifat-sifat baru dalam waktu lebih singkat dibandingkan metode pemuliaan konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis radiasi sinar gamma 60Co terhadap produktivitas tanaman kedelai edamame varietas Lokal Jember. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari-Agustus 2023 di UPT Balai Pengembangan Benih Padi dan Palawija 2, Kecamatan Singosari, Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian disusun menggunakan rancangan single plant dengan 6 dosis perlakuan yaitu 0, 100, 200, 300, 400, dan 500 Gy, dan masing-masing dosis terdiri dari 35 tanaman Parameter pengamatan meliputi persentase perkecambahan, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah polong, dan berat 100 biji. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan Uji T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LD20 dan LD50 adalah 143,32 Gy dan 551,881 Gy. Dosis 400 Gy berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi dan jumlah daun tanaman kedelai edamame.
