Author Fees

This journal charges the following author fees.

Article Submission Charges: Rp. 0. (IDR)
Article Publication Charges (APC): Rp. 400.000 (IDR)
If author's paper are accepted for publication, author will be asked to pay an Article Publication Charges. This fee may be paid by the author, the author’s institution, or their research funder. Our open access journals charge an APC to cover the costs involved in the publication process, from administrating peer-review to production stages.

After acceptance, the article will enter the production cycle and the corresponding author will be asked to sign a payment form. When final formatting corrections are made and the author approves their article for publication, payment of the APC must be received before the article will be published online. The corresponding author assumes responsibility for the article processing charge.

There are no charges for rejected articles, no submission charges, and no surcharges based on the length of an article, figures or supplementary data. Some items (Editorials, Corrections, Addendums, Retractions, Comments, etc.) are published free of charge.

Article Withdrawal

Article withdrawal is strongly discouraged and only used in exceptional circumstances for an early version of an article which has been submitted and has not been officially published. The version may contain errors, may have been posted inadvertently twice or may violate journal publishing ethics guidelines (e.g. multiple submission, false claim about authorship, plagiarism, improper use of data, etc). In such situations, especially in case of legal/ethical violation or false/inaccurate data that could pose a risk of harm if it is used, it merely can be decided to withdraw the article's initial version from our electronic platform. Withdrawal stands with the article content (both HTML and PDF versions) is removed and replaced with HTML and PDF pages stating that the article has been withdrawn in accordance with Plumula : Berkala Ilmiah Agroteknologi withdrawing article policy along with a link to the policy.

If an author wants to withdraw his/her article from the peer-review process or publication process, then he/she must submit a formal letter, provided by our editorial office (Withdrawal Letter – Article), signed by the corresponding author and all the co-authors. The authors should mention their reasons for article withdrawal in the withdrawal letter. Additionally, author who wants to withdraw his/her article after it has been accepted for publication, the author must pay 100% of the publication fee as penalty. If the article has already undergone the processing and publication steps and the publication charges paid by the author will not be refunded. Withdrawal of the manuscript by author's will is only allowed after the withdrawal penalty has been fully paid to the publisher.

Additional note, if the author has his/her own copyright for the article, it doesn’t mean he/she has the right to withdraw it after publication. The integrity of the published scientific records is paramount and this policy on revocation and withdrawal still applies in such cases.
