Pengaruh Komposisi Cocopeat Baru dan Bekas pada Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tembakau Na-Oogst dalam Sistem Hidroponik Tetes

Tembakau Na-Oogst merupakan tanaman bernilai ekonomi tinggi yang memerlukan media tanam dengan retensi air dan aerasi optimal untuk pertumbuhan vegetatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh berbagai proporsi cocopeat baru dan bekas terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman pada sistem hidroponik tetes. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Bondowoso, Jawa Timur (±250–300 m dpl) menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap faktor tunggal dengan enam perlakuan: M0 (100% cocopeat baru), M1 (80% baru + 20% bekas), M2 (50% baru + 50% bekas), M3 (20% baru + 80% bekas), M4 (100% cocopeat bekas halus), dan M5 (100% cocopeat bekas serat), dengan lima ulangan. Parameter pengamatan meliputi tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, lebar daun, dan kadar air media. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa media M3 dan M4 mendukung pertumbuhan terbaik (tinggi batang 119,4–119,8 cm; diameter 1,83 cm; lebar daun 27,9–28,5 cm). Cocopeat bekas mampu mempertahankan kadar air stabil (78,0–80,0%) untuk mendukung perkembangan akar dan ekspansi jaringan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa cocopeat bekas, baik campuran maupun digunakan penuh dengan tekstur halus, efektif digunakan kembali sebagai media tanam hidroponik.
